WHAT TO EXPECT

Real change on a real timeline.

No overnight miracles. Skin renews on a biological clock — here is the honest trajectory for the most common concerns, with a consistent routine.

Acne & redness
8 WEEKS WITH THE ROUTINE

Acne & redness

Actives need multiple skin cycles. Natalee tracks grade changes — and escalates to a doctor if severity rises.

Dehydration & dullness
4 WEEKS WITH THE ROUTINE

Dehydration & dullness

Humectants and barrier support restore water content first — tightness eases, fine dehydration lines soften.

Hyperpigmentation
10 WEEKS WITH THE ROUTINE

Hyperpigmentation

Azelaic acid, vitamin C and daily SPF fade marks gradually. SPF is mandatory — without it pigmentation returns.

Oily T-zone
6 WEEKS WITH THE ROUTINE

Oily T-zone

Gentle BHA and niacinamide rebalance sebum over full renewal cycles — honestly subtle, and honestly real.

Illustrative “expected trajectory” visualisations — not real patient photos. Typical timelines with consistent use; individual results vary; medical patterns route to a doctor.

THE EVIDENCE

Built on published dermatology, not on trends.

Every recommendation Natalee makes traces to mechanisms documented in peer-reviewed literature.

Slower visible aging

Daily sunscreen use measurably slows visible skin aging in adults.

Hughes MC et al. · Annals of Internal Medicine · 2013

Lower melanoma risk

Regular sunscreen use reduces melanoma incidence — shown in a randomized trial.

Green AC et al. · Journal of Clinical Oncology · 2011

80% is the sun

Sun exposure accounts for the large majority of visible facial aging signs.

Flament F et al. · Clin Cosmet Investig Dermatol · 2013

Earlier detection

The ABCDE criteria formalize early detection of suspicious pigmented lesions.

Abbasi NR et al. · JAMA · 2004

Re-scans measure change, metric by metric, over time

THE ANALYSIS

A skin report, not a selfie score.

Every scan becomes an annotated report: six clinical metrics scored 0–100, mapped zone by zone across your face, in plain language.

TONE & SPOTS69

Metrics are scored against dermatologist-labeled calibration exemplars — calibrated, not flattering. When image quality can't support a score, Natalee says so instead of inventing one.

PERSONALIZED ANALYSIS

Taking into account what makes you, you.

Skin type on four axes

Dry/oily, sensitive/resistant, pigmented/non-pigmented, wrinkle-prone/tight — not one crude label.

Fitzpatrick tone

Your tone (I–VI) changes pigmentation risk, calibration exemplars and guidance. A required field, not an afterthought.

Lifestyle

Sleep, stress, sun exposure and current products all move skin measurably.

Safety profile

Allergies, pregnancy, medications feed a hard exclusion gate — and the routine tells you why something was left out.

Climate & season

Barrier function shifts with humidity and temperature. A February routine should not be an August routine.

INFORMATIVE

You will learn…

Your skin's true condition

Six metrics with honest scores — including when the photo can't support a conclusion.

Which ingredients are for you

And which to avoid — matched to your concerns, tone, sensitivity and safety profile.

What the red flags are

The 8 patterns Natalee screens on every scan, and why they stop product recommendations.

When to see a doctor

Clear, calm guidance the moment something is beyond cosmetics — with help booking a specialist.

How your skin changes

Metric-by-metric deltas on every re-scan, so you know what actually worked.

YOUR PLAN

From scan to measurable change.

THE METHOD

Simply follow your routine.

01

Gentle cleanser

AM + PMEASY

Cleans without stripping the barrier — the base every active depends on.

02

Niacinamide serum

AMEASY

Supports barrier and oil balance; evens tone over full renewal cycles.

03

Moisturizer

AM + PMEASY

Seals in hydration; ceramides help repair the barrier while actives work.

04

SPF 50

AMDAILY

The single highest-evidence anti-aging step — mandatory with any pigmentation work.

Sample routine — your own is built from your analysis and safety profile, from real pharmacy brands.

YOUR BIOMETRICS

Track your progress. See what works.

Re-scans plot every metric over time. No filters, no memory bias — the same instrument, applied again.

TRUST

Built like a medical tool, not a beauty filter.

A doctor on every escalation

Red-flag and low-confidence cases queue for licensed clinicians. Commerce stops until a human decides.

Tested before every release

Every model change must pass a golden set of dermatologist-labeled cases — including zero missed red-flags.

Your photos are yours

Encrypted storage, GDPR rights, deletion on request. Doctor review of anonymized cases only with your consent.

THE MARKERS

31 clinical markers. One shared vocabulary.

The same versioned taxonomy runs the analysis, the doctor console and the product matching — what the AI detects is exactly what a doctor can correct.

MEDICAL ADVISORY

Natalee screens. Doctors decide.

This is not AI instead of doctors — it's AI that doctors continuously correct. Every correction becomes permanent knowledge applied to every future analysis.

IB

Dr. Ivan Balabanski

Medical advisor · Dermatology

Authors the red-flag escalation criteria and severity thresholds. Owns the medical taxonomy every analysis is scored against.

+

Clinician network

Review console · Bulgaria

Licensed clinicians review escalated and low-confidence cases in a dedicated console. Their labels and corrections train the system daily.

Every doctor correction is a permanent upgrade, applied automatically to every future analysis.

The Natalee medical loop

TECHNOLOGY

Four systems behind every scan.

SYSTEM 01

Vision analysis

Frontier vision models read your photos alongside dermatologist-labeled exemplar cases — matched by concern, severity and skin tone.

SYSTEM 02

Safety gates

Escalation runs in code, not vibes: the model proposes, deterministic rules confirm. A suspicious lesion stops commerce automatically.

SYSTEM 03

Doctor loop

Uncertain and flagged cases queue for clinician review. Corrections are structured, versioned and injected into future analyses.

SYSTEM 04

Evidence base

Recommendations trace to a curated knowledge base grounded in published dermatology — and every release must pass a golden-set eval.

YOUR CONTEXT

Your skin has a history.

The same face reads differently in Sofia in February and on the coast in August. Natalee reads your skin in its context — tone, climate, season, hormonal reality.

Fitzpatrick I–VI

Tone changes pigmentation risk and how marks heal — so it changes the guidance.

Climate & season

Humidity and temperature shift barrier function measurably through the year.

Hormonal context

Cycle and pregnancy change both the skin and which ingredients are safe.

QUESTIONS

Questions, answered.

Is Natalee a doctor?+

No. Natalee provides cosmetic skincare guidance — it screens, it does not diagnose. When the analysis detects red-flag patterns, product recommendations stop and we help you reach a licensed dermatologist.

What happens to my photos?+

They are stored privately in encrypted storage and used only for your analysis. With your consent, anonymized cases may be reviewed by our doctors to improve the system. You can request deletion anytime at privacy@natalee.app.

Does it account for my allergies?+

Yes — your safety profile (allergies, pregnancy, medications) feeds a hard exclusion gate in the recommendation engine, and the routine shows you when something was excluded because of it.

How is this different from a skin quiz?+

A quiz asks; Natalee measures. Photos of your actual skin are scored across 31 clinical markers against dermatologist-labeled calibration cases — and the system says “I can't tell” when the photo can't support a conclusion.

When can I download the app?+

We are preparing the TestFlight and App Store launch. Join the waitlist and you'll be first to know — early members get a free full analysis at launch.

THE HONEST QUESTION

Will analyzing my skin make me insecure?

You learn what is truly healthy.

Much of what people worry about — visible pores, an occasional spot, texture — is normal, healthy skin. A measurement often ends years of unnecessary worry.

Clarity instead of anxiety.

Vague worry feeds on uncertainty. A concrete, calm report — this is fine, this needs care, this needs a doctor — replaces doom-scrolling with a plan.

Control through knowledge.

When you know your skin's actual state and trajectory, you stop buying hope in jars. You act on evidence, at your own pace.

It's a fair question — and the most important one we can answer. Natalee never scores beauty. There is no attractiveness number, no comparison to other people, no ideal face. The six metrics measure one thing only: the health condition of your skin, against dermatological calibration standards — not against anyone else.

Honesty cuts both ways. If a photo can't support a conclusion, Natalee says “I can't tell” instead of inventing a score. If something looks like it needs a doctor, we stop recommending products entirely and help you reach one. An instrument you can't trust to be honest is not an instrument.

And measurement is calming, not alarming, when it comes with context. “Your hydration is low for February — here are two changes” is a very different sentence from a mirror at midnight. Users don't spiral because they know too much about their skin; they spiral because they know too little, and fill the gap with worst cases.

If at any point the app makes you feel worse instead of clearer — tell us, that's a bug in the product, not in you. Skin health is health. It deserves the same calm, evidence-first care as anything else in medicine.
